If after investing your money in an Apple Watch you feel frustrated because you would like to have the dials of special editions Nike + or Hermés, but you are not willing to spend more money because, basically, it is the same Series 2 watch, now you can feel lucky because you will be able to enjoy these special dials easily and quickly.
To do this, all you need is to have a jailbroken iPhone and get the tweak Special Faces available in Cydia. Follow the steps that I tell you below and soon you will have your Apple Watch with a much more exclusive touch.
A more exclusive Apple Watch
From now on, your Apple Watch, regardless of the model (first generation, Series 1 or Series 2), can look like an Apple Watch Nike + or an Apple Watch Hermès. These two exclusive models are essentially the same watch as the «Series 2», except that they have dials or exclusive watchfaces to which the rest of the apple watch users do not have access. Therefore, you may feel a bit frustrated that you have the Apple Watch but cannot enjoy these dials.
Fortunately, thanks to the tweak Special Faces that you can download from Cydia, you can give a new touch to your watch, although you must first know something important.
Due to the system by which the Apple Watch checks the spheres that are compatible, every time you reboot your jailbroken iPhone the Nike + and Hermès watchfaces will no longer be available on your watch, so you'll need to go back to the Apple Watch app and add them again. Don't worry, you just have to repeat the last step.
That said, and taking into account that automatic reboots or entering safe mode are usually quite common when we jailbreak our iPhone, you will only have to follow the instructions that I detail below in this step-by-step guide to start enjoy your "new" Apple Watch Nike + or Apple Watch Hermès. Don't worry, it's super simple. Shall we start?
How to add the Nike + and Hermès watchfaces to your Apple Watch
- First step. From your iPhone with jailbreak on iOS 10, open the Cydia app and wait for all the packages to finish updating and loading. Click on the "Sources" or "Sources" section at the bottom of the screen and you will go directly to the section where you can manage your repositories.
- Second step. Once they find you in the sources section, press the Edit button and then the one to add a new source. In the pop-up dialog box, enter the following repository or source URL: https://repo.applebetas.tk/
- Third step. Once you've entered the URL of the feed, select the add option. In this way, the new repository will be added to your list of sources in Cydia, while a forced reload or update takes place so that all the packages and tweaks offered in this source will be available to you.
- Fourth step. Now you have to find the tweak that we talked about before. To do this, enter "SpecialFaces" within the Cydia search function. Select and install the tweak in question just as you would any other Cydia tweak.
- Fifth step. In case it prompts you, allow the restart of your iPhone. Next, open the Apple Watch application on your terminal and go to the watchfaces gallery section at the bottom of the screen.
- Step six (and last). Surprisingly, you can see how now the Nike + and Hermès dials are also available for your watch. Select the one you want and add it to your Apple Watch as usual with any other watch face.
