This design philosophy is very evident in the case of the Apple Watch, which underwent a drastic change of course during the product development phase. Screen
The screen is the nerve center of the Apple Watch, the cornerstone of its design and development, as it is the part that all users will use. The consequence of this has been that Apple has spared no resources when it comes to pampering the watch screen, choosing for it the assembly of a retina screen that crowns the device. Apple Watch will launch with two different screen sizes, one of 1,5 inches and another larger model that will have 1,7 inches, which the customer can choose. The smaller screen will be mounted on the 38-millimeter watch and boasts a resolution of 272 x 340 pixels. On the other hand, the largest screen model, the 1,7-inch, will be mounted in the 42-millimeter version, with a resolution of 312 × 390 pixels.
The Apple Watch screen also has technology Force Touch, which can distinguish between touch on screen and pressure. This innovation will allow consumers to interact with Apple Watch applications in a unique way through the compact display of this wristband device.

Apple had to work hard and dedicate itself fully to the task, with its sensor development department. He abandoned his plans to integrate sensors into the watch for the measurement of pressure levels, oxygen and saturation in the blood among others and decided to manufacture the watch with heart rate monitor sensor and other motion detection sensors. The sensor that monitors heart activity is located on the back of the watch and includes infrared LEDs, other visible LEDs and photodiodes that allow monitoring the heart rate. A sapphire lens protects these sensors and provides the device with a soft surface that is pleasant to rub against the wrist.
On the sporting side, Apple Watch includes accelerometer, GPS sensor and Wifi that detect movement and provide a daily measurement of the steps we take and the distance we travel. These measurements are shared with the iPhone and iPad, as well as with the iOS Health apps to measure the consumer's daily fitness.
Connectivity: NFC, Bluetooth and Wifi
Apple Watch will be distributed in the market with certain connectivity options that include NFC connection by contact, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connection. The first generation of Apple Watch it will not have a GPRS / 3G / 4G mobile connection. The NFC contact technology is assumed to be the most important of the wristband device, since it will be responsible for allowing us to pay with Apple Watch through the use of the Apple Pay system. Speaker and microphone
The new Apple Watch is not only a notification device, but it is also a communication device since it incorporates a speaker and a microphone capable of send and receive calls. The microphone can also be used with the Siri voice control system, as well as with the dictation of notes and messages.

Finally Apple has chosen to provide Apple Watch with a charging system MagSafe, very simple to use and similar to the one used in the company's laptops. It is a magnetic charger that automatically docks to the back of the watch when we hold the connector of the MagSafe a couple of centimeters from the back of the watch. The system is so elaborate and refined that consumers will even be able to charge the device without looking, as long as just by bringing it closer to the back of the watch, it will dock automatically. While some rumors claimed that the average life of the Apple Watch charged would be two and a half hours under severe use, the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, has ensured that watch owners who use the device a lot will have to charge it daily. Apple has also recently announced that it is working on a power saving and reserve system that will conserve battery life when the device is not in use.
