This past August, it has been a month full of betas, something that should not call our attention since it is the month of the year in which Apple has to to fine-tune all the versions of the operating systems that will be released throughout the month of September. Each operating system has gone at a different rate of updates, due to the different problems that have been showing, something common being betas.
The guys from Cupertino were forced to launch two days after the last beta of iOS 12, a new beta to solve the happy message that was continuously displayed every time the device was unlocked and that urged us to download a new update that was not available. A few hours later, Apple has released the tenth beta of watchOS 5, a beta intended solely for developers.
This tenth beta, comes a week after the release of the ninth beta and almost two months after the launch of the first beta, the first beta that was launched right after the developer conference in which Apple presented all the news that will come from the hand of tvOS 12, iOS 12, watchOS 5 and macOS Mojave.
This beta, like all watchOS betas, It is only available to users with the developer profile installed on your devices and at the moment, it does not seem that Apple intends to launch them publicly, since the only way to restore the device is in the official Apple Stores.
In order to install the beta, our Apple Watch must have at least 50% battery, be charging and paired to an iPhone, since it is this device that sends you the update in order to install it.
watchOS 5 is only compatible with Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3, being the first model of Apple Watch, the series 0, the only one that has been left out of this cycle of updates, three years after reaching the market.
