Trace of a new Apple TV appears in tvOS 13.4 Beta 1 code

Apple TV

When we talk about Apple hardware renovations, there is always a final question: And when will the Apple TV? Apple's device is one of the least renewed, despite constant rumors about it in each keynote that is made. Well this time there may be a new Apple TV because in the latest Beta of tvOS 13.4 there are traces of it.

Apple released iOS 13.4 Beta 1 yesterday, along with the corresponding version of iPadOS and the rest of the company's operating systems, including tvOS 13.4 Beta 1. This new version that will soon be available to all users but for now only can download if you have developer account, includes a new code for a device that does not exist at the moment: T1125. Today's Apple TVs have the codes "J105a" (Apple TV 4K) and "J42d" (Apple TV HD). This new product code could be a prototype for now, since the initial letter is different from the current models.

More details are unknown, but it does seem that it would include an A12 or A13 Bionic chip, unlike the Apple TV 4K that includes an A10 Fusion chip. With this new chip, the power of the device will be much greater, something that could be used for Apple Arcade games and for the reproduction of high-quality 4K movies. Could we see this new Apple TV soon? If Apple has put that code inside tvOS 13.4 it could be that we will see it soon. Recall that this spring an event is expected to launch the new iPad Pro, the new iPad 2020 and other products such as localized «AirTags» labels on even a wireless charging dock. Or we may have to wait until after the summer, with Apple you never know.
