The Forcy tweak brings 3D Touch functions to old iPhones

One of the main novelties and for which many users have seen the need to change their old iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus is the new 3D Touch function, already available on the Apple Watch but with another name, and that depending on the pressure we make, a menu or another will appear with certain functions. This function is not available in previous versions since the screen of the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus models is different by having a pressure sensitive panel.

But for that we have the Jailbreak and the fantastic tweaks that allow us to customize our device by implementing functions that Apple usually limits to new models. The Forcy tweak is proof of this. Thanks to Forcy we can enjoy the 3D Touch options on iPhone models that do not have this option natively.

To access the options of each application, instead of pressing lightly on the icon, we must swipe up on the app to bring up the available options. The interface is practically the same as that used in the new iPhones and we can access various functions of the Camera, Messages, Notes, Contacts, Clock applications ... At the moment the quick actions of the 3D Touch are not available for the Maps and Photos application. Forcy will also not allow us to access the shortcuts that different developers implement in their applications.

Despite these limitations, Forcy can be very useful in the applications that come natively in iOS with this function that I have commented above. Forcy is available on the Cydia BigBoss repo completely free of charge. Let's hope that the developer will get more out of the tweak and that it allows us to access the quick actions of third-party applications that it does not support at the moment.

I have tried it and it is something that does not contribute anything to me, it is more comfortable to enter the app and do it from there

how long does it take you to open shazam and press the button to listen to a song? with this tweak you do it instantly (for example)

For which IOS is it compatible?

If it is not compatible with the implementation made by third parties, it is not funny

Tried this tweak, but RevealMenu works better. Although it does not have a configuration menu, it does not fail like Forcy (which sometimes hangs and does not let you enter apps or folders)

Hi Diego, how do I delete applications when I have installed RevealMenu? Thanks

I correct you, the tweak if it is compatible with the quick functions of third-party apps. Apple's own work for me, including updating Numbers and Pages, as well as WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.

The tweak enables the native function of the iPhone 6s but with another gesture. If you complement it with the UniversalForce tweak you have all the 3D Touch functions on an older iPhone.
