These are all the news and secrets of iOS 11 for the iPhone

That is why we have decided to make a huge compilation where you can learn in depth all the secrets that iOS 11 hides for the iPhone, so you will be aware of everything that Apple has prepared for you. Let's go!

Do not miss absolutely anything of what we have prepared for you, and if you know some of the functions that we are going to comment on, take advantage of the index so as not to lose a single second.

The Control Center is the first of the great changes

The Control Center is one of the sections that has generated the most controversy in iOS since its arrival with iOS 7, it seems that it has not satisfied anyone. That is why it is one of the sections of the operating system most predisposed to undergo modifications through Jailbreak. So, since Cupertino they have decided to settle all the gossip once and for all, they have created a One-page, fully customizable Control Center. The Control Center of iOS 11 gathers everything necessary in a single movement, and not only that, we can remove, put and modify the position of each of the buttons, for that we only have to go to Settings> Control Center.

One of the most popular arrivals at the control center is precisely the mobile data on / off button, something that users have been demanding for years. On the other hand we say goodbye to the two pages and almost all the buttons are fully compatible with 3D Touch functions.

Changes to the Notification Center

The Notification Center is another section that is quite susceptible to modifications in each of the iOS updates. Users have also been complaining that the order of notifications when we receive many can be a real madness. Apple has also decided to destroy this controversy with a single stroke, now the Notification Center will have a first screen with the most recent ones, however, if we slide up we can see some less relevant ones that reached us many hours ago. In this way we can take into account what may or may not be a priority when managing the time we spend on notifications.

While, you have to get used to using this new methodOtherwise, you could miss some notifications, although the balloons will continue to be a clear detector that we have not attended to something. In addition, the Notification Center has lost the Blur tonality, now it only shows us the wallpaper without further ado.

No names and more dock space

When we now place a series of applications in the Dock, we will see them slightly more separated from each other, but not only that, but also now the operating system will remove the name under the applications that are placed in the Dock. This can be the first step to start removing (or allowing us to do it) directly the name under the application logos, something that is really quite useless, since all of us identify the applications by their logo, and not by the tiny name or sign that Apple puts in iOS just below the application and that in many cases is even out of square or lacks text.

Small changes in the graphical interface

First of all, let's say goodbye to coverage points, Apple has re-embedded a system of bars at different sizes next to the operator that not only occupies much less spacerather, they are more revealing. Personally, I am much more comfortable with this new system. The clock and the rest of the options on the top bar do not seem to have undergone any change, apart from the battery, which shows the same colors as before, but has acquired a slightly more rounded shape, like the rest of the operating system functions.

Siri also has a new look, accompanied by a number of logos that have changed in the settings section, such as the SOS Call, and the statements of the sections. In settings, a slightly larger bold type has prevailed. It is clear that Apple is slowly ending the Blur effect, providing more clarity and legibility to the texts. Finally, in general terms, the iOS App Store has also undergone changes in its logo and design.

El multitasking application switch has been another of those affected, now it works more precisely, however, Handoff at the bottom is no longer shown as a small transparent cloud, now it is one more button that tells us what action we are going to execute. On the other hand, the app cards are slightly smaller and with more rounded edges. In the same way, We practically say goodbye to the Parallax effect in almost any function of the device.

Record device screen hassle-free

Before we could also carry out this task of recording the screen, but many used the Jailbreak as a faster and more infallible method. Goodbye to all this Apple has embedded a new function to record the screen in the easiest place we can imagineIndeed, a new button that we can add in the Notification Center will allow us to record the screen with amazing ease. The process is simple, in Settings> General> Control Center we are going to add the button «Screen Recording (Screen Recording in the beta)» and removing the Control Center we press the record button, at the moment we close the Center Control will start the recording that will stop when we press the upper blue bar.

A fantastic feature that many of us missed on iOS And that gives a good sign of what Apple is doing with the operating system, adding features that we never imagined we could have without Jailberak.

A total redesign of the iOS App Store

Sure enough, Apple says goodbye to old ghosts and gives a Total turn to the iOS App Store. Now we have a new arrangement at the bottom with rounded logos, on the left side "Today", where we can see the new applications launched and small summaries of their functions; Right next to the eyelash is born "Games", a whole section dedicated to video games for iOS.

The tab is born "Look for", located in the extreme right of the lower part, accompanied by the «Updates» how could it be otherwise, goodbye to the "Purchased" tab. The central button is reserved for applications, where we will find the new arrangement by cards. It will undoubtedly cost to adapt to this new App Store that includes GIFs so that we can see faster and with less data consumption what are the functions of the applications that we want to download. A success is the renewed iOS App Store.

The Notes app joins the party too

Notes is another application that has undergone the most changes in recent years, and for the better. Notes continues to be updated, getting slight improvements that make it an indispensable in anyone's iPhone. Now the Notes application will have your own document scanner that will read and transcribe the text. But not everything is there, the present functionalities have been improved.

One of the most striking is that now we can include up to a table As you can see in the screenshot that we have left up there, indeed, Notes will now allow you to organize your content more and better, and you will be able to edit it wherever you want, both on the iCloud website and from any of your devices that have Notes application, the truth is that we are facing an important step to make this application indispensable, if it is not already.

Other less flashy iOS 11 features

And it is not just what we have told, iOS 11 has much more, in addition to the secrets that it keeps and that are yet to be discovered. Let's give a little roundup of which are the less striking but necessary changes to know:

I think when ios 11 is stable. I will leave my iphone without jailbrake.
I only use custom accesses in Control Center
    Record screen.
And youtube ++ that this can be had without jailbrake.

The truth is, I think that with the news of iOS 11 the Jailbreak is practically no longer necessary. Every time iOS advances more, adding more factory possibilities that were previously only possible through the Jailbreak.

      Greetings 😉

If 32-bit applications stop working, it doesn't seem like a minor piece of information ... It should be noted that applications compiled for such an architecture, if they don't have 64-bit support (today it would be a bit strange, but there is a possibility) they would stop working.

Jailbrake is not just for fiddling with the interface, but for running things in privileged mode which gives you the freedom to do whatever you want on YOUR iphone.

        Thanks for the info!

I thought I was the only one who had been missing that function for years, I see that not ...
I can't quite understand why they don't integrate this into iOS natively. The problem is that the updates draw my attention a lot, that's why I no longer have the Jailbreak.

      Greetings 😛

I have not done jalibreak for a long time and I only miss the Virtual Home, I hope that Apple takes note of that Tweak, of course what I like the most about IOS 11 is the customization of the Control Center, it was time for them to deactivate and activating data, it took 11 years to realize.

    WRONG, Michael.
I put it in capital letters so that the comment catches your attention, it is not going to bad;)

"The Control Center is the first of the great changes"
It would be "the first of the great changes" or "the first great change"

"Something that is really quite useless, since we all identify the applications by their logo"
    Dear Miguel:

I understand what you mean, but I do not agree in your rating of useless to the fact of putting the name of the applications, because it is not entirely true. I am 20 years old, and I am a normal and ordinary person, I do not have memory problems or anything and even so there are applications that I use practically every day and that I have no idea what they are called, right, but what if I need to know the name (for whatever. eg give the name to a friend)? Likewise, some apps are located or assured by reading the name.

    regards

Very good article. As for the Jailbreak, with my iPhone 6… I'll stick with the jailbreak and wait for the next one for iOS 11.

They should already put the option to be able to record calls

    1.    Your conscience said

Recording calls is illegal in some countries or legal if the person explicitly knows that it will be recorded.
