This is how the new Face ID is configured to unlock the iPhone X

Thanks to the Golden Master version of iOs 11 we already almost know all the details of the next iPhone X, although we still have a lot to see, because Although the specifications are practically already written in our memory, we have not yet seen the device working. The facial unlocking, the 3D camera, the new functions… we have all yet to see it in action, although here we have a little snack.

Facial unlocking, Face ID, will be the big star of the new iPhone X, and thanks to Guilherme Rambo we can know how it will be configured in the new iPhone and how it will work to unlock the device. Unlocking our iPhone with our face will already be a reality with this new terminal that Apple will present to us and we can see below how.

The Face ID configuration will be done in a similar way to what we are used to using with Touch ID. From the device settings we can make the iPhone memorize our face, for which it will be necessary that we move our head to capture the different profiles and details of it, and thus make a 3D model which will be the one used to unlock the device. In the absence of confirmation, it seems that a simple photo will not be useful to unlock the iPhone.

To unlock it, we will have to place our face inside the box with the smiley face, and if the unlock is successful, an animation that reminds us of the new Siri will appear in battle allowing us to use the device. This unlock is not exactly what the final device will have, since it is an animation that occurs within the configuration process. Let us remember that it is an exclusive function of the iPhone X and that this developer has only been able to test it on a 7 Plus.
