If you have installed iOS 8.2, you will have already seen that there is a new one on your home screen application that will allow you to pair your iPhone with the Apple Watch. There could be a second new application but in this case, Apple has decided to hide it and its icon will only appear once you have purchased the company's watch.
The second application we are talking about is that of Activity and a developer has managed to unlock it to fiddle with it a bit and without the Apple Watch, its usefulness is completely null. The application interface shows an appearance similar to what we can already see on the clock, offering pie charts representing different types of activity done on the same day. There are also daily statistics, achievements and a series of other options that make Activity a very complete application.
As an iPhone 6 owner, I wonder why Apple hasn't done it the other way around. Sincerely, I see the Activity application much more useful than the one dedicated to the Apple Watch, even more so when we may never use it. However, we already know that since the iPhone 5s, the mobile incorporates a coprocessor that does exactly the same function as the Apple Watch, that is, to record our activity. Why not show the data collected by the terminal and show it in that app?
The Health application is a real disaster drawer. Too much data condensed in one place and a very limited interpretation of the information, with hardly any options. In this regard, the Activity application can become the solution that, at least I, have been waiting for a long time.
Ahh geez !!! I do not have that application, update and only under the clock
And I love the same as you
I do not know if I am blind, but what they say here I do not see it on my iPhone with iOS 8.2
Only for iPhone 5S or higher… .. 🙁
Learn to read first, if you pay attention to what is written, it is clear that it only appears if you have an Apple watch connected to your iPhone, do not keep looking, you will not find it.
It only comes out when you activate the watch app, if you don't have a watch, you won't have this app
I have updated a 4S and a mini and I do not get any app to pair an Apple watch.
Open if it works
