Editing applications are becoming more and more present in the App Store since it is very useful to be able to edit photos from a device as powerful as the iPad. Applications such as VSCOcam, Over, ProCam XL and Pixelmator, which for me is the best photo editor available on the App Store. Since I saw it in one of the last keynotes in the Big Apple, it is present in the 'Photography' folder on my iPad. Pixelmator for iPad is a powerful image editor that provides everything you need to create, edit and enhance your images. It allows you to work seamlessly with Mac and iPad. And even collaborate seamlessly with those who use Adobe Photoshop.
Even though Pixelmator is not frequently updated on the App Store, when it does, it does so under conditions. This time we have included many new functions and more than a dozen bugs fixed. Thanks to this update, users work with better functions and in a more stable way. Let's see some of the new features of Pixelmator 1.1:
- Watercolors: A very powerful watercolor technology has been included with which the results obtained are truly incredible. There are more than 10 watercolor brushes included in this version and they are designed by artists who know what they are talking about.
- Colors: the new color selector shows us the ones previously chosen and used. We can also choose colors based on the RGB, CMYK and grayscale system.
- RAW: If you work with images in RAW format, you are in luck because as of this update, Pixelmator allows viewing and editing of images in this format.
- Support for programs: Pixelmator thinks that integration with other programs (such as the one that already exists in Photoshop) is important so in this update it establishes full support with Adonit Jot Script, Jot Touch 4, PixelPoint and Jot Touch.
- Pressure sensitivity: The system used by the application to draw with the stylus has been improved.
