This is the leaked design of the front panel of the iPhone 14

IPhone 14 design

Rumors have been on the table for months. Apple is likely to put expiration date definitively to the notch as we know it from the iPhone X. The new iPhone 14 will arrive in September and with it, a design change on the front panel that we haven't seen for several years now. It is likely that the notch will be removed to make way for a new 'in tablet' design, where all the sensors that are now carried in the black notch will go. A new design posted online in the form of a leak continues to confirm this design.

Leaks reaffirm the tablet design of the front panel of the iPhone 14

The image was published on the social network Weibo and was accompanied by a small message. This is not another confirmation of what we have been suspecting in recent months: a design change to the front of the iPhone 14. This new design would consist of a hole for the camera and a slot in the form of a 'lozenge' for the speaker and some additional sensor that cannot be incorporated under the screen.

In the design we can see how the production is similar to the concepts that have been published for some months now. We have to remember that the iPhone 14 will come in two sizes: 6,1 inches and 6,7 inches. Both models in a standard format and in a Pro format. In addition, we have to take into account that this lozenge design will only appear on Pro models, at least in the transition to this new design.

With this new leak and the confirmation of this same design by Jon Prosser, we can take for granted this information that has been heard for months. The only thing left for us to do is wait for September to finally see the design and predict a promising future for models that would definitively abandon the notch as we know it.
