Siri for Apple TV is currently available in the following languages and countries: English (United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia), Spanish (only in Spain at the moment), alemán (Germany), French (France and Canada) and Japanese (Japan). Considering that Siri for iPhone is available in a greater number of territories, why hasn't the same happened with Apple TV?

The situation is complicated if we take into account that in some countries the original title of a film is changed when it is translated into the local language.
From Apple they are already working to expand Siri on Apple TV for new territories as soon as possible.

I live in France and today I just bought the new Apple TV, once I have it configured in Spanish from Spain I see that it does not allow me to use Siri, it appears blocked, the only way to use it is to put it in French, someone else will has passed?
I have exactly the same problem, I live in Marseille and it won't let me put it on Siri, only in French. It's not a problem but it still piss me off
