Last week I expressed my opinions and expectations about what I expect Apple's iPhone 5S to be like, a device that the company will probably present on next September 10. The iPhone 5S will not be the only protagonist of the day, since the Cupertino company will present, for the first time in six years, a new iPhone model: el iPhone 5C or low cost. This phone would be Apple's answer to Samsung's current dominance as the largest international manufacturer, as the company sells millions of low-cost smartphones in emerging markets.
What do i expect froml iPhone 5C? Let's go by parts.
Name: iPhone 5C
I agree with the sources that state that the low-cost iPhone will be called "iPhone 5C". This "C" will come from the word "colors", as it will be available in different shades. However, I discard that Apple has baptized it that way by the adjective "cheap" or "cheap" in English, since this word has a negative connotation in its original language.
Software:iOS 7
Apple has us used to cutting out news at the operating system level in its older terminals. Hopefully iOS 7 presents all its features in this new terminal and Apple does not "cape" any news. Much has been said about the non-inclusion of the voice assistant, Siri, in this low-cost iPhone, but on a personal level, I think it would be a mistake not to include Siri in this model.
Hardware
The iPhone 5C could have some hardware aspects cut out: the camera would have the same pixels as the iPhone 4S, instead of presenting the lenses that are included in the iPhone 5S. The same we can venture about the processor, which will probably stay in an A6. It is something that we can anticipate taking into account what Apple has done with the iPad mini. Lastly, don't expect a fingerprint authentication chip on the cheap iPhone 5C.
Integrated
To lower costs, Apple would have used cheaper materials in the manufacture of this low-cost iPhone. We would be talking about a telephone produced, basically, of plastic. In terms of colors, I expect Apple to offer the same range that the iPod Touch presents right now: black, gray, blue, yellow, and pinkish.
Cost
How much should this iPhone model cost? Currently, the free iPhone 5 is priced at 669 euros. To compete with other low-cost smartphones in emerging markets, the free iPhone 5C should be around the price of 350 euros released.
On September 10 we will see what finally happens.

From what I have read, you basically expect the iPhone 5C to have the same characteristics as the iPhone 5, and to me it simply seems disrespectful that for 300 euros more, the only difference with the iPhone 5 is the plastic finishes, I just got the iPhone 5 and previously I had the 4s, I would not look favorably on the features you have named, it has to be differentiated from the iPhone 5 yes or yes, and not only in the plastic !!!!
Totally agree but remember that the iPhone 5 is a 2012 model and we are at 13. My advice is to buy as soon as you leave, do not wait a month
Oh my goodness! You were ashamed of your 4s for being "old-fashioned" and you had to get pissed off on the 5th. Pablo, you know very well that it is not going to be for € 350. Put € 469 for the Iphone 5c, € 569 for the Iphone 5 and 669 for the Iphone 5s and maybe let's be more realistic. € 350 and 5s sales are charged. I have it more than clear.

It is a terminal that will greatly measure the benefits and the price so as not to become its own competition. We are at a time when many users want a phone with connectivity, they are no longer looking for the Swiss army knife that can do everything.
For me, the technical limits of the phone begin to be limited with the rest of the devices: digital cameras (lenses and pixels), consoles (graphic power), tablets (screen size), GPS.
The advantage of the iPhone 5C is its iOS operating system (for those who like it, for those who do not like it, it will be the clear disadvantage). The iPhone 5C is going to be an iPhone 4S with a lighting connector and a 4 ″ screen.
I imagine that the AirDrop will not have capped because they cannot get a new product capped with its own system, yes, the price has to be very measured so as not to take away the market from its older brothers.
AND EYE !! that perhaps the iPhone 5 will disappear leaving only the 5S and 5C range because I am not so clear about the price range with 3 phones on the market
I totally agree with you the new iPhone 5C will be an update of the 4s or the 4 only. Also I do not share the idea that I swear I must have Siri.
