When Apple launched the new MacBook Pro last year, one of the most striking new features, in addition to its all-new redesign, was the Touch Bar. an OLED touch screen showing shortcuts to the main functions of the applications that have been adapted. This OLED touch screen sits on top of the keyboard and replaces the classic function keys on Mac keyboards. Some rumors related to the upcoming release of the iPhone 8, claim that this new device could offer a Function Area, a small OLED screen that would offer us different options in a similar way to how the MacBook Pro does.

Although it may seem like a great is unlikely Apple will finally add this screen. Fortunately, while Apple decides or not to implement it, jailbreak users will soon be able to enjoy a screen with a similar operation in the lower part of the screen. The developer LaughingQuoll is the one who is carrying out this project, a developer that probably does not sound familiar to you, unless we are talking about Noctis or Decorus, other of the fantastic tweaks that are available in Cydia under their name.

LaughingQuoll posted different tweets in which we can see how this tweak works, a tweak that will be available this week on the Cydia alternative app store. At the moment we do not know if it will be available for free for download or we will have to go through the box to enjoy the Touch Bar of the MacBook Pro on our iPhone, while we wait for Apple to have the idea or not to add this screen to the iPhone.
