Todoist finally integrates with Google Calendar

Todoist is the perfect solution to be able to manage our tasks on a day-to-day basis, but many users have always missed being able to consult their tasks through the calendar, in fact it has always been one of those requested by users. But that wait has come to an end, since the Todoist guys will implement the integration with Google Calendar in a few days, an integration that will allow us to consult our tasks at all times through the Google Calendar calendars, so that the tasks or events that we have pending do not pass us. The integration is two-way, so if we mark a task or event as done, it will be automatically reflected in Google calendars and vice versa.

What's new in the next Todoist update

  • Changes to the task or event are synced instantly. For example, editing a due date for a task in Todoist will automatically change the date of the event in Google Calendar, and vice versa.
  • It also works with recurring tasks / events. For example, a weekly event every Wednesday through May 20 in Google Calendar will automatically create a task every Wednesday ending May 20 in Todoist.
  • Users can sync all Todoist tasks from all projects (as long as they have a due date) or only tasks that belong to a specific project.
  • Todoist Shared Projects will allow contributors to indirectly view / add / edit things on your Google Calendar. For example, if you add a new task in a shared project, it will automatically be added to your calendar (if that particular project was previously synced with the calendar).

This new integration will be available in the next few days, so we will have to wait to enjoy this highly anticipated integration with Google Calendar. Todoist is available for download for free, but to take advantage of all the functions that it offers us, we must make use of an annual subscription.
