Every day we have a task to do, a task that we usually write down in a mobile application and when we remember the task it is usually too late. There are many applications to write down tasks on the market, but after trying many in the end I decided on Todoist, one of the best, not to mention, the best application to manage all your day-to-day tasks. If we are one of those who need to write down all the tasks that we have pending but we tend to delay them again and again, Todoist has launched a new update of its application that learns from the habits of users to manage the day to day of our tasks, something very to be appreciated if our to-do list is constantly growing.
Thanks to the new Smart Schedule feature, artificial intelligence sticks its head squarely on our to-do list. It may be a bit weird at first, but after trying it for a few days, we can no longer imagine life without it.
Todoist update details
- User habits: Do you answer emails on Monday? Do you read pending articles on Friday? Smart Schedule learns the user's habits and suggests dates accordingly.
- Task urgency: Based on past data from all Todoist users, Smart Schedule estimates the urgency of any task.
- Business days vs. weekends: Tasks like "View Westworld" will be suggested for the weekend, while "Finish draft" for days during the week.
- Upcoming tasks: Do you have a hard day tomorrow but Friday quite free? Smart Schedule will try to balance the task load.
- Daily goal: If the user's goal is to complete 10 tasks each day and there are only 5 scheduled for tomorrow, Smart Schedule will suggest "tomorrow" as the due date to meet the goal.
Todoist, is multiplatform, so we can make use of it directly from our smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac, and thanks to the synchronization in the cloud, we can be informed at all times of which tasks we have pending or add new tasks.
