Its successive updates have managed to improve and expand the functions of this excellent application that serves not only to create a catalog with the films you have seen, but also to know when your favorite films are released, watch their trailers, and receive information on when they are already in theaters. This new version that is already available in the App Store also adds more possibilities: create personalized lists, much more information about the movies, new faster and more direct navigation, and the long-awaited compatibility with the Apple Watch. TodoMovies is redesigned with tabbed browsing that replaces the side menu of previous versions. A way that in my view is much more comfortable and that gives you direct access to the most important functions without the need to display menus. As is usual in all these applications, the images of the films are the main thing in the design, but unlike others, in TodoMovies 4 it is very easy to add films to your lists: you just have to press and hold on the movie poster and you Save options will appear. Forget about having to press and press to be able to include a movie in your list of Views or To be seen. The information is very detailed, with access to the official trailers, premiere information, the cast, and even the ability to rate the film.
The application includes two lists by default, but you can include other custom lists. if you want to create more than one list you will have to go through the checkout, but that is something that only the most demanding will need. I at least with those two default lists I manage perfectly. There is no lack of the news section to find out about the latest happening in the world of cinema.
The application Settings allow you to set notifications to notify you when there is a movie pending to be seen at the cinema, with the possibility of setting a fixed time for each notification or to deactivate them if you do not want it that way. All a detail that allows you to configure the quality of the images so that when you are not connected to a WiFi network, you do not use a lot of data from your rate.
But without a doubt the protagonist of this update is the Apple Watch, because TodoMovies 4 has its application for the Apple Watch. You will be able to access your lists, mark movies as views and even rate them from your smartwatch, all with images and a very comfortable interface to use. Thank you very much for recommending this application to me. I have tried it and I have to say that it has a very big flaw and that is that the release dates only put those of the United States and not that of Spain. If this application wants to cover a lot of the market, I see it as a very big failure.
True, it does not offer release dates for other countries. Hopefully the developer takes that into account.
