La adaptation that requires the passage from iOS 6 to iOS 7 it is not being equally satisfactory for all users. While one group sees many advantages in the new version of the operating system, others see it as a step back in which aesthetics, simplicity and some functions have been lost.
Surely more than one misses the Safari ".com" button that has disappeared in iOS 7, well, all is not lost and there is a very simple trick to be able to use it. All you have to do is press and hold the button at the point to the right of the "space" key and the following abbreviations will appear in the case of the iOS 7 Spanish keyboard:
- .net
- . Edu
- .eu
- .org
- .es
- .com
The ".com" option is what is selected by default If we press for a long time, so as soon as we release our finger, the system will automatically write it in the Safari bar. If we want to choose any of the other alternatives we have to slide our finger towards the one we want and that's it.
This is one of the things that it may seem very obvious But if we are used to the dedicated button in iOS 6, it may seem that it is a function that Apple has removed after the update. It was faster and more visual before but you know, it doesn't always rain to everyone's liking.
What other "obvious" tricks do you know about iOS 7 that might go unnoticed if someone doesn't know about them?

With the Safari unibar it makes sense that it is hidden that way. Before I went out according to the chosen bar
When I had the .com key, it was exactly the same, it came out the same
It seems that in Actualidad iPhone They still live in the year 1500, do they forget that there is a continent called America, right? I say this because the iOS 7 keyboard also has the abbreviation ".mx", remember that not only Spaniards enter this blog...
You are right! .mx also comes out, wait ... Nacho hadn't said he was going to be on android for a few days? Where is this capture from? mmm .. I think someone is being paid well here haha
No, what happens is that we read what we think. I make it very clear that it is the Spanish keyboard for Spain (the country in which I was born and currently live), therefore the abbreviation .mx does not appear, as in the United States the .es will not appear.
If we had to clarify all the differences that exist in iOS depending on the country, we would make it clear. As always, the thing is to complain.
What happens Nacho is that it is not fair that they segment their publications so much. I think (like many others) that many of their posts are made with the "false" belief that only Spaniards come to this blog. I recently saw on facebook that they want us to vote for you for the best blog. I gladly voted for you because you are excellent. But do not forget that a large part of those who will vote for you are not exactly from Spain.
We do know, but it is impossible for us to do what you ask. How can I make a screenshot on my phone so that the .mx extension appears if I'm not from there?
The information is there, then each one has to "adapt" it in case it does not correspond.
It's like the news "the iPhone comes out in Spain on October 25". Well, in the title we only mention Spain but then we put the rest of the territories.
We cannot do a post for each country because it would be crazy and it doesn't make much sense.
Regards!
It's as easy as changing the language of the keyboard since in ios / you can do it without problem both putting Spanish in Spain and in Mexico etc ... it does not cost you anything to do that and take a screenshot of the keyboard and put it again as you like
Of course, and when we test a game we do it on an iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s and iPhone 4 individually to see the performance in each of the terminals.
Sometimes you demand incomprehensible things.
Hello, apart from going through the calendar by weeks, it can also be done by days, moving your finger to the right or left on the displayed day.
Well, in the IPhone 4 there is no such point to the right of the space bar, there is only the enter key and of course it goes without saying that we do not have the microphone key on the left either ... 😠
I rectify. That keyboard does not appear with the period to, for example, comment on this post but it does appear when we want to write an address above. The mic is another song ...
The microphone only comes out to the iPhone from generation 4S, 5, 5C and 5S since it is because of Siri that makes the voice dictation, the iPhone 4 does not have Siri or voice dictation
Thanks for the answer, I already knew. What surprises me is that I see dirty phones with Android like my mother's Galaxy mini that do have that function and my IPhone 4 turns that mobile 1000 times. I agree that Siri would be too much but I do not think that this mobile does not support a simple dictation that then goes to text for WhatsApp for example.
Good tip, I also got the option for my country, «.pe»
The keyboard changed, before the letters were seen in lowercase and changed to uppercase when it was activated by the shift key. Now it is always seen in uppercase. Is there a trick or is it a step back!
A bug or at least I see it like this is that the Safari reader option does not allow you to change the size of the text or at least I could not, if someone knows please share it! Thanks!
