Being able to do two things at the same time on different current mobile devices such as the iPad or iPhone, It is something that many users have been demanding for a long time., currently there is multitasking but we can only use one application on the screen.
The other day we talk about ReachApp, a tweak that allows you to use two applications at the same time through multi-window on the screen, you can now test it yourself by downloading the beta of the tweak.
The tweak works on all iOS 8 devices, but on iPhones that do not have support for the Reachability function, you will have to download some other tweak that enables it, such as ReachAll.
To install ReachApp beta, you have to add the repository http://elijahandandrew.com/repo/ to Cydia, this is done from Edit> Add and copy the URL, once you have added it, search Cydia for the tweak and install it.
With ReachApp already installed, a new panel will appear in the settings appIn this panel you will be able to activate and deactivate the tweak, as well as the rotation of the screen, there is also “Disable auto-dismiss”, this option allows the automatic deactivation of Reachability when the device is inactive.
To use it you have to open the two applications you want to use at the same time, once this is done you have to double tap the Touch ID, your screen will be divided in two and in each one of the windows you will be able to see the different applications that you opened previously, being able to interact with both at the same time without having to close one to use the other.
Between the two windows there is a gray line, which you can move up or down to adjust the size of the windows according to your preference, remind you that it is a beta so errors may arise or that everything does not work correctly, but at the moment no user has reported bugs and the truth works perfectly.
With the 6 Plus I am having problems. When I press twice, sometimes I split the screen in two and other times I lower it with the effect that attracts you again to put the icons within reach.
For it to work in 5s, do you have to put something else? since only with this tweak it does not work.
go things that an android does claiming it the people of iOS ... curious ...
Last paragraph, correct 😉
You have put "no user has reported bugs" instead of "no user has reported bugs"
Thanks, I don't know where his head was ..
This tweak is in beta format and they have forgotten to put that the beta only works with the iPhone 6 and 6 plus
I installed it in a 5c and I see that it does what it says ... not to leave it at least because of the size of the screen
Did you just need to install this tweak or did you need something else?
You have to activate it with activator, I have it on the iPad 2 and it works
Sergio, could you please explain to me how you activated it with Activator, I don't see the tweak to assign an action to it.
Sussanna once you have installed the tweak, you go into activator and choose the way you want to activate it, I have put it by giving the home button 3 times. The action is what makes you "activate reachability"
I activate it with activator, with the same method as your Sergio, and nothing at all. Say I'm on ipad mini 2 ios 8.1.2
How do I do that? To install ReachApp beta, you have to add the repository http://elijahandandrew.com/repo/ to Cydia, this is done from Edit> Add and copy the URL, once you have added it, search Cydia for the tweak and install it. » I don't understand anything helps; (
