Tutorial: How to Transfer Your Voice Memos from iPhone to Computer

One of the best tools that we find today to record sounds is the Native iPhone Voice Memos app, which in the case of the iPhone 5s picks up even the faintest sounds, as if it were a human ear. In this tutorial, which we make available to new users who purchase an iPhone, but also to all those who are unfamiliar with voice memo management, we explain how to transfer your recordings from iPhone to computer.

to. Sharing through the app

Once you've finished recording your voice memo, give it a name and save the file. Click on the voice memo and then click on the share icon (with the arrow). There you can send your note via e-mail or iMessages (only available for Mac). Use either of these two options to receive the voice memo on your computer and save it in the folder you want. If you have iMessages activated on your Mac, you can drag the note and save it directly wherever you want.

b. Via iTunes

It is the traditional option when saving notes, but personally I prefer the first method, since it is faster if you do not have to cut the note because it is too long.

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer, select the device in iTunes and go to the "Music" tab.

2. Click on "Synchronize music" and do not forget to mark the option "Synchronize memos", so that all your voice notes are synchronized with iTunes and appear in the program. Click on Apply.

3. You can find your memos by going to iTunes, Music-Genre section and all your voice notes will appear there.
