We already have here the Jailbreak Untethered for iOS 6, compatible with all devices. The application to do it is Evasi0n, which we can download from evasi0n.com, the official page that the Evad3rs team has created, with versions for Mac, Windows and Linux. Once the application is downloaded, what steps do I have to follow? We describe step by step what is the process to get your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with Cydia installed.
Requirements
The compatible devices are:
- iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S and 5
- iPad 2G, 3G, 4G and Mini
- iPod Touch 4G and 5G
All the supported iOS versions are:
- iOS 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1 and 6.1.2
Es It is recommended to have updated or restored through iTunes, not through OTA. If you updated via OTA and the Jailbreak does not work for you, restore through iTunes again.

Procedure
If you meet the requirements, you have everything ready to Jailbreak your device. The first thing is to connect it to your computer. It is always advisable to use the original cable and a main USB, avoiding hubs and the like, this way you guarantee that there will be no problems. If you have the key lock, disable it before jailbreak, and do not run iTunes or XCode during the process, it is best not to touch the computer during the process.
Download the application from the official website, and install it on your computer. Connect your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to your computer, and launch Evasi0n. A window will appear in which it detects the device you have connected. Click on "Jailbreak" and wait.
When the message "To continue, please unlock ..." appears in the window, you must unlock your device and click on the "Jailbreak" icon that will appear on the springboard.
Click on the icon and your device will restart several times, at the end of everything, the message that everything is finished will appear in your computer window.
When you unlock your device again, look for the Cydia icon. Now to enjoy your Jailbreak with iOS 6.
SOLUTION TO THE MOST FREQUENT ERRORS:
- In Windows make sure to run it in administrator mode, for which you have to right-click on the application and choose that option.
- In OS X you must make sure that in System Preferences> Security you have activated the option to be able to open applications downloaded from any source, if not, the Mac security system will not allow you to execute it.
- If your device gets stuck on "Patching Kernel", press and hold the Home and Power buttons until it reboots. Once it has rebooted, repeat the jailbreak process.

You cannot install 6.1 on your iPhone because Apple no longer signs it. You need to have the 6.1 SHSHs saved (they can't be saved anymore if you didn't do it at the time), sign the 6.1 firmware with those SHSHs using RedSn0w or iFaith, and install that signed firmware on your device.
