The social network Twitter has made great strides in recent months. A few weeks ago it announced the "Super Follow" function, a subscription tool to bring users closer to special and personalized content upon payment of an access. In addition, “Spaces”, audio rooms that try to simulate the ClubHouse experience, are being tested, in addition to the fleets, simulating Instagram stories. Today one more step is taken and allows the playback of YouTube videos without leaving the application, in addition to starting the test to load and view images in 4K quality.
Upload and view 4K images: what's new in the Twitter app
Twitter has announced through its official account on its own social network news regarding its official iOS and Android app. Under the slogan "an image is worth a thousand words", two new features are integrated that will improve the quality of the multimedia content visible on the social network, in addition to improving the experience of users with this type of content.
Now testing on Android and iOS: when you Tweet a single image, how the image appears in the Tweet composer is how it will look on the timeline –– bigger and better. pic.twitter.com/izI5S9VRdX

The first novelty falls on the images that are uploaded individually. From now on, if you upload a single photo, it will look much larger and with better quality, they say from Twitter. Above all, it is noticeable in the images that are uploaded in vertical format, that they will acquire a higher resolution occupying almost the entire screen, leaving tweets above and below. To access the complete image, the same process will be followed as now: by clicking on the image.
In addition, Another tool related to images is beginning to be tested. May upload content in high definition with resolutions up to 4K. To see if we are added to the beta of this function, we will have to go to the internal Settings of the Twitter app and define in which situations we can upload or view that content: always or only with Wi-Fi.
Last but not least, the option to watch Youtube videos inside the application without having to leave the timeline. It is a way to streamline the user experience and avoid having to leave the app to access the browser or the YouTube app.
