Twitter is logging out accounts randomly

Twitter

A strange and curious bug is giving headaches to Twitter users on iOS since the last days. According to a high number of complaints from users, the app Twitter is suddenly and continuously kicking random users out of your session. The bug, in principle, would only affect iOS users and Twitter has confirmed it.

The bird company has confirmed that they would already be investigating the reason for this bug. In an update recently shared by the Twitter support team, they indicated this in a simple communication, without being able to give much more detail about it:

We are investigating a bug that is causing unexpected logouts in iOS 15. We are sorry for the inconvenience and will keep you posted on the fixes.

The support team's responses to the tweet suggest that the bug is impacting a good number of users, where some indicate that they have been expelled from their session "several" times or more. There are not many more details on the scope of the bug, not even the support team has been able to give us more light on it, but they do seem to be clear that it does not go beyond iOS 15 and at any time of the day, without a specific time frame.

Additionally, it seems that The bug does not occur at the account level but has happened to several users with all the accounts they have open from their app, being able to expel you without prior notice from any of them no matter which one you are using.

Personally, we have not been affected by this bug which, we understand, can become very annoying and even more so when you are reading your feed and suddenly you cannot continue where you were going or you have to log in again for it. Twitter is working on an update so we recommend you pay attention to the App Store and update to the latest version these days. Emphasis for all of you who have been affected by the bug.

And to you, has the bug impacted you? Did you have to opt for other solutions (apps) to log in and be able to use the service normally? We read you!
