iOS 8.2 includes an application specifically dedicated to the Apple Watch and that is hidden until you link the Apple Watch with your iPhone. Activity, the name given to this application, will be the one that shows us all the data related to our movements carried out in our normal activity or while we exercise. If you don't want to wait to get your Apple Watch to check it out, We explain step by step how you can get the application to appear on your iPhone, and you don't need Jailbreak, or even restore your device. To make it easier for you, we offer it to you in images and video.
Requirements
- iOS 8.2 installed on your iPhone
- iBackupBot, available for Windows and Mac OS X, and that you can download for free from your official page.
- File «Activity.zip» that you can download from this link to Dropbox.
Procedure
Connect your iPhone to iTunes and make a backup. Mark the option "1" and then click on "2" to make the backup on your Windows or Mac.
Once the copy is done, run iBackupBot, and wait for the copies to load. Select your device and the copy you just made.
Navigate to «System Files> HomeDomain> Library> Preferences » and click on the «Import» button. Then select the "com.apple.Fitness.plist" file from the "System Files" folder inside the "Activity.zip" file that you downloaded earlier.
Once imported navigate to «User App Files>com.apple.Fitness>Library> Preferences » and again click on «Import». Now select the "com.apple.Fitness.plist" file from the "User App Files" folder of the "Activity.zip" file you downloaded earlier.
Once imported close iBackupBot and run iTunes again. Now click on "Restore copy" and choose the last copy you made. Wait for your device to restore the copy and restart. The Activity app will now appear on your springboard. Here we show you the same process in video so that you have it even easier.
and with jailbreak ???
Does it really work? Or is it to see how it is? And another thing, how is the performance and battery life in an IPHONE 6 of 16 gigs? Any change ?, thanks in advance !!!
Does this show movement information from the phone as well or just from the watch?
