iTunes is updated to version 12.1.2 adding support for the photos application and other improvements

iTunes-12-1-2

Apple has launched a few hours ago an iTunes update, specifically version 12.1.2. The update includes compatibility improvements with the new Photos app que llegó ayer de la mano de Yosemite OS X 10.10.3 y añade various tweaks in the "Get Info" window to offer us a clearer and more accurate information. On the other hand, global stability improvements of the application are also included.

In the information about the update we can read:

This update improves support for syncing photos on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch from the new Photos app for OS X. Additionally, this update adds several tweaks to the Get Info window and improves the overall stability of the app.

It doesn't seem like a big update, but it's still important for all the users who have gone from using iPhoto or Aperture to using the Photos application. It should be remembered that the new Apple Photos application replaces both iPhoto and Aperture and offers us a flatter interface that fits better in Yosemite OS X and offers us an experience closer to the one we already use on our iOS devices.

The update is available for both Mac OS X and Windows. For OS X users, the update is available in the updates section of the Mac App Store. It is also available for download from its official website.
