Warhammer 40.000: Deathwatch - Tyranid Invasion App of the Week

Warhammer-40000-Deathwatch-Tyranid-Invasion

This time, the app of the week is a game again. After a game with very simple graphics but that offers a good experience as was the case with The Mesh last week, Apple has chosen this time for its weekly promotion a totally different title: Warhammer 40.000 Death Watch - Tyranid Invasion. Under this not at all short name we have a turn-based strategy game, something that I thought I was not going to like at all until I tried the XCOM Enemy Unknown, a game that I tried on the PS3 and that later I also bought for iOS (for fun outside from home too).

Unlike other strategy games, the game mode turn-based game of titles like Warhammer 40.000 Death Watch - Tyranid Invasion implies that we will first make our movements and then we have to wait until our enemy makes his. We could say that it is like chess, but (very) modern. The differences are that we can move more than one character per turn and that, as far as I know, in chess there is no piece that fires with machine guns or anything like that.

As in chess, in Warhammer 40.000 Death Watch - Tyranid Invasion we will also have to move by squares. Each character can move twice: the first to move and the second to attack. If we attack directly or make a very long movement, we will consume both of our movements, so we must be very careful and leave our soldiers always well protected.

Warhammer 40.000 Death Watch - Tyranid Invasion also has part of RPG, if by that we understand that our characters will evolve. What will be most noticeable will be the weapons, protections and other accessories that we can buy with the money that we earn when we meet our objectives. If you want to know what the game is like, I think it is best if you watch videos like the previous one. It is true that the game is free, but I think that in strategy games progress is very slow and it can happen to you like me with XCOM, which I saw in its day on iOS, I downloaded it on the PlayStation Plus and only played to understand why so many users liked it. Good thing I did, because it's one of my favorite games. In any case, although it is best to watch a video to know more or less how the game is, do not miss the opportunity and download it for free while you still have time.
