watchOS 4 will offer us a number keyboard to make calls

Although the Apple Watch can be used regularly to receive calls, it also allows us to make them. To do this, the Phone application of the Apple Watch offers us the possibility of accessing the most recent calls, contacts and favorites. But it seems that that will change with the launch of watchOS 4, since Apple will include a numeric keypad to be able to make calls by dialing the number, an option that until now forced us to have to access the iPhone to be able to do so or well make use of Siri to speak phone numbers aloud, a rather heavy and tedious task that took us much longer than if we did it directly with the telephone.

Making calls directly from the Apple Watch is an option that is there, but that very few people will use, except on occasions when we have no choice for not having the terminal nearby. This numeric keyboard is also useful for when we call a switchboard and we are forced to press the extension number or select different numbers depending on whether we want one department or another to attend to us. watchOS 4 in beta is for developers only, since currently it is not possible to downgrade directly if we do not go to an Apple Store.

In the last WWDC 2017, the guys from Cupertino did not present many news related to the next version of the operating system, news that could be a revolution in its operation. The news that Apple presented to us at WWDC show us tThree new Toy Story character spheres and some aesthetic and functional modifications to the Train app, in which representative icons of the different activities that we can quantify are shown. watchOS 4 will arrive in its final version on the same day that iOS 11 is officially released, a date that will probably coincide with the presentation of the iPhone 8, 7s or whatever it is finally called.
