We tested InstaWrist, the return of Instagram to the Apple Watch

It was at the beginning of April when the guys from Instagram decided to remove the Instagram app for Apple Watch, an app that allowed us to enjoy (roughly) Instagram from our Apple Watch. Not only has it been Instagram, there have been many others who have realized how little users use their applications on the Apple Watch, and therefore they have decided to stop using resources by updating their applications for the Apple Watch ...

Today we bring you InstaWrist, an application that precisely rescue that official app from the Instagram guys for the Apple Watch, in this case we have an app from a third party developer but it meets what is necessary to be able to enjoy the fashion social network, Instagram, directly from our Apple Watch. We have tested it and we want to tell you our impressions, we already anticipate that the application complies ... You want to know more? after the jump you have all the details of InstaWrist for the Apple Watch.

InstaWrist comes to bring us what Instagram took from us: the possibility to check our feed directly from our Apple Watch, and we cannot forget that Instagram discontinued its app for the Apple Watch a few months ago. InstaWrist operation is very simple, it is based on a iPhone app where we can log in with our Instagram account, we don't have to do anything else. Once we are logged in, we can check our Instagram feed by accessing the InstaWrist app on our Apple Watch (you can see it in the screenshots of the image that heads this post). I miss the possibility of seeing our own profile (necessary according to our ego), although we can see our feed (as we have already told you), and the notifications we have (users who follow us, new I like), what's more by clicking on a photo or notification we can see the feed of the user in question. In this last section I miss the one that allows us to give I like to a publication, at the moment it is not possible although I do not doubt that they will end up implementing it.

Returning to the app for the iPhone, a "company" app rather, tell you that it has interesting functions such as the possibility of configuring the feed that we see on the Apple Watch, we can do it filtering images or even selecting the hashtags concrete that we want to see. We can also define post notifications so InstaWrist reminds us that we have to publish so we don't lose our publishing pace.

If you are one of those who are pending 24 hours of Instagram, InstaWrist is your application. InstaWrist is available in the App Store for just € 1,09 a price that is not at all excessive that will really be worth it when you can check your Instagram feeds directly from your Apple Watch. As we tell you, Recommended for fans of Instagram, and dispensable if you are not pending all day of your feed.
