I was talking to you this morning about the Sun application, a Web App that added a dynamic icon that showed the temperature of your locality on the springboard. Well now, thanks to Cydia we can do something similar with the Calendar icon. WeekInCal ++ is a new application available on the BigBoss repo for $ 0,99 that makes the Calendar icon show, in addition to the current day on the springboard, in the upper left corner, in small, the week you are in.
The application does not stop there, it also adds the week within the calendar application. To the left of the calendar we can see some numbers that indicate the week of the year. Is perfectly compatible with iPhone and iPad, and although the application is only in version 1.0, I have not noticed any flaws in it.
On iPhone I have easily found a couple of substitutes for the Calendar app native to iOS, and they far exceed it (in my opinion). Week Calendar for my work, since it allows me to create event templates in which I can specify duration, location ... and above all, Fantastical, a fabulous calendar application that I have used for a long time on Mac OS X, and since its launch to iPhone is one of the fixed ones on my device, and it would certainly be on my iPad if they ever decided to launch the application. However for iPad I cannot find an application that is a good substitute for the native application. Do you know of any worthwhile calendar application for iPad? I await your comments.

But if this already does it by itself, the ios calendar icon without the need to install anything.
No, natively on the iPad it shows us the day we are in, but in the calendar icon with this tweak it shows us the week we are in. In addition, it shows us all the weeks of the year within the Calendar application.
