What's new in iOS 6 beta 14 for developers?

Little by little we are reaching the final stretch of the testing process of the new Apple operating systems. Thanks to the developers, the big apple can polish all the details of operating systems that are almost close to the final version. The final launch will go hand in hand with the launch of the iPhone 12 most likely in late September or early October. A few days ago it was launched iOS 6 beta 14 for developers with some interesting news, many bug improvements and also a performance increase on all devices.

We arrived at the beta 6 of iOS 14: news

As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, Apple launched a few days ago the sixth beta of iOS and iPadOS 14. The first beta arrived on June 22 and since then the news has been happening in each of the versions that Apple offered to developers. This time it was not going to be less and we have small new functions and fixes that make iOS and iPadOS a more refined and versatile system. We are going to comment on them:

  • Home screen in Apple Maps: As in other applications, once we start the Apple Maps app for the first time after the beta, a screen is displayed with the news of iOS 14 within the application. It should be remembered that the main novelties in iPadOS and iOS 14 are bicycle navigation, the arrival of guides and the warning of speed cameras.
  • Own rating system in Apple Maps: yesterday I was talking about this novelty. Apple has wanted to stop depending on third-party companies like Yelp or Foursquare to provide opinions and reviews of establishments and places. To do this, it has implemented a rating system that is only available to a select and small group of people within the beta, for now.
  • Time selector in Clock: already in the previous beta Apple gave us back the slider of numbers as iOS always had. However, on this occasion, the box is rounded with a yellow line that indicates that the box where the hour and the minute are can be moved to change.
  • AirPods Pro Spatial Audio: The Spatial Audio function has also been included within the Accessibility options. This function allows you to activate this mode available in the AirPods Pro. What it allows is to participate in an immersive experience avoiding that the audio that is transmitted from the iPhone to the AirPods is not modified when we move our head. Although the feature is included, it is not yet functional.

It seems incredible to me that no one is talking about a very curious novelty yet.
Now wireless chargers (compatible) change the color led when charging is complete.
No one seems to have seen this more than me. ‍♂️

Good morning talk about the option of radars in maps but I do not see it anywhere in Spain, will it not be available?

This novelty is not available in Spain. Unless we have confirmed it. Remember that the function refers to cameras in traffic lights and radars. All the best.
