WhatsApp Business accounts received a while ago filters for searches. This tool was displayed when the search engine was accessed. These filters allowed to find certain chats based on some characteristics that they fulfilled. Among those features are: groups, unread, contacts and non-contacts. The new beta of WhatsApp for iOS includes these filters in searches for standard accounts, as commented from BetaInfo. That is, they want to bring the filters to all users. However, the feature brings a small concept change that will improve usability. From WhatsApp Business to access the filters it is necessary to access the search engine and once inside the search apply the filters. However, the feature for standard accounts they will include the filters from the home screen where we find all our chats.
This feature is in testing on both WhatsApp for iOS, Android and desktop. However, being a test and being available in the beta program nor do we know if it will be launched definitively or when.
