WhatsApp for Apple Watch is just around the corner

There are not a few users who, with good reason, have complained about having an Apple Watch and waiting for WhatsApp to update its application so that it is compatible with the apple smartwatch. The Apple Watch has been with us since April and watchOS 2, which allows us to create native applications for the watch, has been launched several months ago. So what is WhatsApp waiting for? Well, following the new rhythm that they have taken since the iPhone 6s was launched in September, the version of WhatsApp compatible with Apple Watch It is just around the corner.

At Lóleo Eventos, latest beta WhatsApp has discovered a file called "watchAppBundleIdentifier", which indicates that they have already begun to test a version that will be fully compatible with the watch of Tim Cook and company. But when will the official version come out? If we are optimistic and pay attention to the last few months, it could come sooner than we think. If we prefer to be cautious, we can think that they will still release another version with some of the other improvements that were expected, but this is less likely.

With this new version, Apple Watch users will be able to reply to messages from your watch, as well as having an icon on the wearable's home screen. From this icon, as a native application that it will be, you can open the WhatsApp of the clock to see all conversations and send messages even if a message has not been received from that contact before.

WhatsApp is being good lately. In a short time they have released two updates that add compatibility with the 3D Touch screen (one that added shortcuts and the other Peek & Pop) and last week they also released a new version that included small changes in the user interface. They have yet to include a lot of news to fulfill all the rumors, but there is no doubt that the batteries have been put.

Yes, but there is something that is not discussed and neither have the people on WhatsApp said it, but you can respond to the notifications even from the apple watch, when the notification arrives, the reply button appears.

It is good to know that the native app will come with its respective complications.

I really want it to arrive, since that way we can use the applewatch to start a conversation 🙂

for those who have iOS 9.0.2 if they can reply to whatsapp messages from the Apple Watch, and it is not necessary to update to iOs 9.1 ...

What they have to do is install the WAREPLY tweak from the official Cydia repos

Then activate the tweak from settings, turn off the phone and apple watch, and it works incredible ...

The tweak does not mention anything for the Apple Watch, but I installed it and the quick reply started to work from my watch, ... I searched on the subject on Reddit and many more also worked

Well, thank goodness, but it is true that for some time you can directly reply to messages with your apple watch.
A pity that an application like Telegram does not have as much fame as the truth is. Good thing I use a lot more iMessage.

Great functionality is needed, answering with a voice message, because sometimes the voice dictation does not work, it is also not capable of performing the periods, commas, parentheses, etc. The best thing would be to respond with a voice message.

These messaging apps should take full advantage of the Watch's microphone and allow you to send Voice Notes. It's nice to be able to answer with text but it doesn't recognize you when you ask a question.
I do not know if it happens to someone that before you had the icon of the FB Messenger app on your watch, but now it disappeared (I'm not sure in which update) and now I can no longer send voice messages from my wrist

Bryan Nuñez, I do have the fb messenger app on my watch, enter the  watch app to see if you have "show on  watch" disabled in it, if not reinstall, and to be able to send voice notes you have to go from back to the  watch app / messages / audio messages / and you have to choose between «dictation» «audio» «or that you have the option to choose each time you go to send»
