WhatsApp for iPad is almost ready

WhatsApp for iPad

After years of speculating about this possibility, the first images of WhatsApp for iPad appear indicating that its launch is already more than a possibility In the very near future.

After years of incomprehensible waiting, the most popular messaging application in Spain and many other countries will finally have a version for iPad. We will no longer have to use WhatsApp web or have our iPhone connected to be able to send and receive messages from the Apple tablet. As reported by WABetainfo, a very reliable source that always anticipates WhatsApp news, iPad support already exists in the Facebook app BetaAlthough it is not yet available for widespread use even when enrolled in the Beta program. WABetainfo has managed to activate this functionality and offers us a screenshot in which we can see how the iPad appears among the devices linked to your account.

WhatsApp has been testing multi-device compatibility for its application for some time. This was the first necessary step so that the messaging application could be used on various devices without the need for our iPhone to be connected. Until now, the use of several devices with WhatsApp was possible only through WhatsApp web, which was connected directly to our iPhone to be able to send and receive messages. With this new functionality, WhatsApp will work like Telegram, with independent devices associated with a single account. A maximum of four devices can be associated, in addition to our iPhone.

We do not know when this new functionality will be launched, for now the first thing that will have to happen is that it is available in the WhatsApp Beta for those registered in it, and later it will be launched publicly for all users. There will also be multi-device compatibility on Android, so it can also be used on tablets with the Google operating system.
