WhatsApp is updated and is already compatible with Concentration Mode and the new Voice Notes

WhatsApp

We already have the WhatsApp update that we were waiting for. With this new version, which is now available, we can already enjoy the new Voice Notes, the Concentration Modes and finally we see the profile photos who sends us the message in the notifications.

New Voice Notes

Voice Notes are here to stay, and as much as it hurts many of us, this form of communication is becoming more widespread among users of messaging applications. Now it will be more comfortable to listen to them, since we can continue listening to the voice note even if we change the chat, even if we start writing a message to another person. This way it becomes much less tedious to have to listen to a long voice memo. You will have to get used to it.

Concentration mode

A few days ago we explained to you how the different Focus Modes work on the iPhone, which are also synchronized with your iPad and Mac. Because there are times when you don't want to be bothered with inopportune WhatsApp, but you don't want to silence everyone, since there is someone you do want to be notified of the WhatsApp. Well now you can with these Focus Modes because WhatsApp is (surprisingly) compatible with this new feature in iOS 15 (but we still don't have an Apple Watch app). We leave you the video where we explain how the Concentration Modes work to get the most out of it.

Profile pictures

With the arrival of iOs 15, notifications have changed, and now they are much richer in information. Messaging applications can now show the profile pictures of those who send us messages when sending us a notification, and WhatsApp also supports this new feature. This way you can visually identify who is sending you the message faster. In the event that the message arrives from a group, the image that will appear will be that of the group, not that of the person who sent it to you.

all these new features are now available in the latest version of the app which is now available on the App Store, so to use them you just have to download it on your iPhone.

Let's see when we read "whatsapp is updated and is already compatible with apple watch". It is a pity that being such a good product, the apple watch is so poor when it comes to notifications. My old Pebble, despite its limitations, was much better in that respect. I wonder what would have become of Pebble today if it hadn't gone bankrupt.

      In notifications? Poor?

Pebble didn't go bankrupt, it was bought by Fitbit... Google bought Fitbit... and never heard from again
