The main novelty of this update is about new privacy settings for the user, allowing to hide the time of the last time we connected, the profile photo and the status. These options may be available to everyone, for only our contacts or with the maximum privacy option that no one will be able to see them.
A feature highly demanded by many users who wanted to be able to control the privacy of their WhatsApp account and be able to choose who will be able to see our information regarding these options from now on. To access these new privacy settings and configure them to our liking, we must go to Settings> Account> Privacy. In addition, this new version of the application includes new wallpapers for our conversations and a series of bug fixes for more stability.
As for wallpapers From the conversations, the WhatsApp application now allows the preview of the funds before being applied to be able to check how they would look, we can even slide our finger on the screen to be able to move between backgrounds without having to choose one by one. They have also added the option to depth adjustment for these backgrounds similar to the paralax effect that iOS 7 uses.
