The new function unveiled in the beta of WhatsApp for desktop is the possibility of leaving WhatsApp groups without alerting all users, administrators only. With the arrival of Communities and groups of up to 256 people, it is a good measure to avoid informing the entire group of a user's departure.
We can leave WhatsApp groups without anyone noticing
