WhatsApp will be integrated into the Opera 45 browser

Currently both Chrome and Firefox are the kings of the mambo if we talk about browsers. In third position we find Opera, which last year went through a sale process to a Chinese company. The new owners of Opera they want their browser to become something more than an option almost unknown to many users, users who do not see beyond Chrome and sometimes Firefox. To try to increase the number of users who make use of the Opera browser, the company is working on the next updates, versions 44 and 45, updates that will bring us important news regarding messaging platforms.

Opera Software will allow us the possibility of integrating Facebook Messenger in the browser, so that we will not have to open a specific window to chat with our friends from our PC or Mac. This integration will come with the next update of Opera, in its version number 44, currently we are in version 43. This function will be disabled by default, a function that we will logically have to configure so that it appears on the left side of the screen where we have access to the main functions of the browser.

But with the arrival of Opera 45, WhatsApp will also be integrated into the browser, so that we will be able to continue with our conversations directly through the specific browser window, while we surf the internet, enjoy the latest YouTube videos, check our email or whatever we do with it. Obviously the first time we configure it, the browser will show us the code that we have to scan to link both services and that from that moment on it is available every time we run the Opera browser.

Currently both Chrome like Firefox allows us to make use of different extensions to be able to use WhatsApp through the browser, but being one more tab. Opera 45, unlike the operation of these extensions, will not run in a separate tab, but will run in the browser window.
