Without a doubt one of the applications on your iPhone that consumes more storage is WhatsApp. Above all, if the horny people in your groups are sending images and memes all day, or your sister-in-law has a child who has just turned one year old and she peppers you with photos of the creature.
The developers of the application are aware of this, and have prepared a new storage manager that will undoubtedly help us to manage all that is accumulating on your iPhone. We will have it in the next WhatsApp update that is coming down.
WhatsApp developers are implementing a new and improved way to manage storage within their application, to help their users to identify, select and delete en masse Animated GIFs, photos and videos that may be filling up your iPhone unnecessarily.
In the next update that is to fallWithin WhatsApp we will have a tool to group large files that have been forwarded many times, sorting the files by volume in descending order and providing a preview of the files before deleting them.
Users can also preview files before selecting one or more to be deleted. You can access this function in the internal configuration of WhatsApp, clicking on "Data and storage", and in the new section "Manage storage«.
You don't have to look at it now because it has not yet been implemented. But it will be this week. It is included in the next WhatsApp update, which will be implemented worldwide in the next few days.
It is certainly great news. So from time to time we can enter this new feature and do "cleaning" of everything that we are accumulating from our dear WhatsApp contacts.
