Office

A few days ago, the guys at Microsoft updated the Outlook mail application to be supports dark mode, a dark mode that replaces the traditional white background with black, passing the texts to be displayed in white.

But it has not been the only application of the computer giant has updated to this mode, since all applications that are part of Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote just went dark mode, a dark mode that adapts the same design that we can find in the Outlook application.

Office dark mode

Once we update to the new versions of the Office applications, as long as we have activated the dark mode, when opening the applications, these they will show us the interface with the black background. When creating documents, the background will remain white, as has always been the case. The only application that adapts all black as the application background is OneNote, Microsoft's Notes application that is also part of Office.

OneNote's dark mode is ideal for all those users who use the application for long periods of time in low ambient light conditionsas it reduces eye strain. This dark mode is available in both the iPhone and iPad versions.

In order to use the different applications that are part of Office, it is necessary to have an Office 365 subscription, as long as our iPad is one of the different Pro models that Apple makes available to us. If it is a normal model, it is not necessary to have this type of subscription.
