Word Flow, Microsoft's keyboard, will come to iOS

One of the novelties that Apple introduced in iOS 8 was the possibility of using third-party keyboards. Since then, dozens of keyboards have been delivered to the App Store, from which they allow us to form words sliding over the keys even those that allow us to add GIFs, links to websites, etc. But it seems that there is always room for one more and Microsoft has announced that it will bring its keyboard to the App Store Word flow, which holds the Guinness record for writing speed.

Word Flow is one of the distinguishing points of Windows Phone, so WP users will not welcome this news. In any case, Word Flow is similar to Swiftkey, but has far superior predictive text and is capable of predicting sentences, although this is what is said among English-speaking users. It remains to be seen if these predictions are so good in our language. And, how could it be otherwise, we can also type normally, in case we do not like to slide on the keyboard.

As Daniel Rubino says, the technology used by Word Flow is created from scratch by Microsoft. When it reaches the App Store, of course, I will give it a try, but I'm afraid it will happen to me as with the rest of the keyboards. None of them completes adapting to my needs and the delay when switching between the keyboard typing and emoji is something I can't stand. To be honest, I have been waiting for a long time that Apple will make its own native keyboard that allows us to slide to form words, respect the image of iOS and do not suffer anything from lag, but my hopes are diluted with the passing of the years. Maybe for iOS 10 we will see something similar, but I would not bet on it.

Strongly agree with you, it is difficult to dock to another keyboard after using iOS. I, who had both systems, was a disaster when I had to use the WP keyboard, in many cases I preferred better to call or voice messages.
