The application that for a little less than a year became part of Apple, Workflow, has just received a new update, an update that offers us new features and improvements to the popular automation tool, a tool that many of us thought that it would be natively integrated into iOS 11.
This new update of Workflow offers us as the main novelty, the Image Mask function, one of the demands of many users practically since this application hit the market a few years ago. This feature will allow users apply an image mask to photos to crop as needed.
By default, this new function offers us three preset configurations: rounded rectangle, ellipse and icon. Thanks to this new function, we can quickly apply different shapes to our photographs to highlight what is really important in the image, either to use them as avatars in applications or to share with other applications.
This new update also offers us new fields for Add Thing To-Do action, with which we can arrange the elements of the action in addition to adding support to open the workflows to the URL scheme. The extraction of text from files in PDF format has also been improved, as well as the operation of the drag and drop function.
This new update solves a large number of errors that had been detected in the application since the launch of the previous version, an update that reached the App Store on November 7. Workflow allows us to automate tasks, quickly and easily, although to be able to get hold of the application, we have to overcome a learning curve that is precisely simple, due to the large number of functions that the application makes available to us.
Workflow is available for download completely free of charge, since Apple bought it last year, through the following link.
