Wunderlist, a complete, simple and free task manager

Things to do

A few years ago, task managers became very popular with the emergence of applications such as OmniFocus or Things, which although they were not exactly cheap, did manage to capture the attention of the market and managed to popularize applications that until then were more restricted for professional use but not for personal use. Apple also included its own option called Reminders, but simplifying the concept and leaving aside any kind of complexity.

The new times

Wunderlist basically takes advantage of the gap between Reminders and OmniFocus or Things. That is, it offers a free application with a more complete paid version, but the truth is that unlike other apps or games, with the free version we will probably have all the needs covered in terms of daily use, especially if we come of a To-Do app that is not too complex and does not have many customization possibilities.

The organization of the app is practically traced to its competitors, since it allows us to create different groups of tasks in which to organize ourselves, being able to make collaborative lists in real time without any problem. It also gives us the option of setting a deadline for the tasks, or if we prefer we can choose a reminder at a specific time to notify us in the purest Reminders style.

Pro

Although the advanced version is not necessary for the vast majority, it is necessary for those who want to get the most out of this application. With Wunderlist Pro we can include unlimited files of any size in the cloud to share them with colleagues, create subtasks to better organize tasks that become complex, make unlimited assignments on other people and some extra funds offered by the application to personalize it even more.

The price of this Pro version is 4,49 euros per month or 44,99 euros per year, perhaps a bit high if we consider what its competitors cost. From my point of view we are facing a magnificent application for those who have plenty of the free version (that is, for the vast majority of users), but if we have to go to the paid version I think that at least we have to take a look at the competition (OmniFocus 2, Things) because the price is similar and the level they offer us is not at all inferior.
