That is why the Redmond company has allocated a large amount of resources to its app companion for the Xbox, and it's time to take a closer look.

The main mission of the application is that we can perform certain actions faster than we would from the game console with the remote. It is therefore very interesting to use the application for the management of private messages with other users, to enter text (requires being on the same WiFi network) or to see the list of friends while playing a game without interrupting the game, for example.
In addition, the application allows us to make the purchases we want, for example from work and that when we get home the game is already downloaded to xbox, always bearing in mind that we cannot have the Energy Saving option activated in the game console, since the console has to maintain the connection to the network to be able to download the games while it is off.
