If you thought that there was no longer any important Apple software to update, you were wrong. Yesterday all apple operating systems were updated, releasing the final versions of iOS 9.3, tvOS 9.2, watchOS 2.2 and OS X 10.11.4, and iTunes reached version 12.3.3 adding support for the new devices that were presented in Keynote on the 21st, iPhone SE, and 9.7-inch iPad Pro. But there is still an update that we had not published: Xcode 7.3.
It is normal that they update Xcode when they launch new Apple operating systems, since it is the tool with which applications for iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS are compiled, so Apple also released the new version of Xcode including support for iOS 9.3, watchOS 2.2, OS X 10.11.4 and tvOS 9.2 SDKs. In addition, it also includes support for the latest version of the programming language that they introduced in 2014, Swift 2.2.

At this point and while recognizing that this update is worthwhile like any other update of Xcode, there is talk of the frustrating problem that we usually experience when updating the program. I can't recall any recent updates to Apple's application development program that have allowed me to update without problems. It has been a long time since there has been a widespread bug that causes the Xcode download from the Mac App Store to go "on hold" and not finish installing. The last times that I have wanted to update Xcode I have had to uninstall it and re-download it from the OS X application store. Here Apple would have to do something because then what happens happens, that the developers download the program from unofficial servers and download a compromised program. In any case, we have a new version of Xcode available for hours.
