A couple of days ago my colleague Gnzl announced that the application Yahoo! Messenger would add the video calling function and, as of today, the application update is already available to provide the following improvements:
- Video calls: Use Yahoo! Messenger to make video calls and broadcast live videos from one point to another.
- Voice calls: Make free voice calls to your friends on Yahoo! Messenger
- Low cost voice calls- Call your friends on their landlines or mobiles and make low-cost international calls with your Yahoo! Voice.
- Simultaneous tasks: The Yahoo! Messenger supports multitasking.

yahoo is very good, if all my contacts belonged to yahoo.
This version offers much, less one thing, supporting msn contacts is a small detail that becomes gigantic when we want to have all our contacts in a good app.

I have an iPhone4, connected to WIFI (updated app yahooo messenger 2.0) and calling a Yahoo messenger account on a Macbook pro.
Please have someone else try it out and tell us, thank you.
At the moment the video call does not.
Well, I just tried it with the latest version of Yahoo (10) with windows 7 and the latest version of Yahoo Messenger downloaded from the appstore and it worked for me ok, both the video call and the chat.
Me too [does little work for me from Iphone 4 wifi to mac book pro 15 wifi on another network ……. It will be that it is not compatible with the yahho messenger for mac ???? will have to try in windows to see ..
Checked, I tried it by installing the yahoo messenger on my macbook with parallels desktop and it works although the quality is a bit poor but hey I am with the iphone in 3g however it works …….

I have tried it with my iPhone 3G iOS 4.1 with jail
and I tried it on my pc to my iphone with different yahoo contacts
voice calls work
But the video calls do not work, the video call enters my iphone but when I answer, nothing is seen and the application is exited. = (
As I have seen in Applesfera and in the App Store, at the moment the Yahoo Messenger video call for Mac does not work and it only works for Windows,

I am in the same position, I cannot have videoconferences with Yahoo Messenger on iPhone 4. If someone has already done it, please pass the tip.
