Yoigo releases its official iPhone application

Telstra

This is good news for the operator's customers TelstraAfter a long time waiting for it, it has finally become a reality, the operator has put its first official app in the AppStore to have all the information about our rate.

Yoigo releases at last your first application from which it allows us to know from the remaining megabytes of the month according to the contracted rate, remaining free minutes, consumption history, invoices and much more.

And it is that if you are from Yoigo you will know that until now the only method to find out this data from our iPhone was either by making a call to 622, consulting it on the web or downloading the unofficial app "Yoiger"This last option was the one I chose, and after getting used to it I have to say that the new official app has its good points and weaknesses.

I fully understand that they have just released it and they still have a lot of work ahead of them, I must also emphasize that its operation is good and it has a beautiful interface with very useful and detailed information.

What is missing then? Yoigo's unofficial application had shortcomings that this new app does not have, for example, from this new app we can check past invoices, make a breakdown of the next invoice and even access a help section with a large database of FAQ (frequently asked questions), however there is something that I miss about the previous app, the widget.

Although it is true that it is a minor characteristic, the widget The notification center allowed us to quickly consult the megabytes and / or minutes remaining in our rate and even the final price for that month, all with a graph that did not take up much space and that made us rarely open the application.

This is precisely what I hope Yoigo will be polishing in his application, although it could be said that despite being his first version it looks very very good, this detail and speed up the data loading time a bit would help the application to be that perfect companion that we have been waiting for so long.

And you, have you tried it already?
