Surely many of you already have the iOS 8 notification center packed with widgetsHowever, many people are releasing their first iPhone and still do not know all the news included in the new version of Apple's operating system.
Although it sounds strange that in 2014 we are talking about widgets, the truth is that Apple is the first time that it supports these add-ons officially and, little by little, developers are encouraged to create dedicated widgets for your applications.
To install widgets in iOS 8 We just have to remove the notification center and click on the "Edit" button. There we will access a list with all the widgets available at that time, being able to activate and deactivate those that interest us.
Remember widgets consume resources so you have to try to enable only the essential ones or we will notice that the battery decreases more quickly. Keep in mind that many make use of the location or the data connection every time we open the notification center.
At the moment there is not a very wide range of widgets available for iOS 8 although in the App Store you have a dedicated section to this topic and you may find something interesting. There are also other applications that are not included in that section and that also have their corresponding widget. Weather Underground or the Hours time manager are some examples, although surely there are many more.
