The new 9,7-inch iPad Air

Apple introduced the new iPad 5, and the first surprise is that its name becomes "iPad Air", giving maximum relevance to the fact that it has decreased in size and weight. At just 7,5mm thick and weighing 469g (478 for the 4G model), the new iPad also offers all the power of the A7 processor, and the M7 co-processor for movements. The design is as expected: iPad Mini style, and the autonomy is maintained at 10 hours. It will be available in white-silver and black-space gray, and capacities ranging from 16Gb to 128Gb. The price ranges from € 479 (16Gb WiFi model) to € 869 for the 4G model with 128Gb. Available from November 1.

iPad Mini with Retina display

Apple has not wanted to name the new iPad Mini with a "2" as a suffix. He preferred «iPad Mini with Retina display«. The update is not only on a screen comparable to that of its older brother, with a resolution of 2048 × 2536 and a pixel density of 326 dpi, maintaining its screen size of 9,7 inches, of course. The new iPad Mini will also share the same processor as the iPad Air, the powerful A7 that the iPhone 5 also has, with 64-bit architecture, and the help of the M7 coprocessor. With 3mm thicker than the previous model (and the same thickness as the iPad Air) and a weight of 331gr (28 more than the normal mini) it maintains its autonomy of 10 hours despite the increase in performance. The price, from € 389 for the 16Gb Wifi model, to € 779 for the 4Gb 128G model.

New SmartCase and SmartCover for iPad Air and Mini

Apple does not want to leave its new tablets unprotected, and that is why it has introduced the new covers compatible with the iPad Mini and iPad Air. In the case of the iPad Mini, are compatible with both models, both the old Mini and the new Mini with Retina display. Prices vary depending on the models, and whether they are made of leather or not, but range from € 39 for the SmartCover (front protection only) to € 79 for the SmartCase for iPad Air (total protection).

iLife and iWorks Renewed and Free

Apple's office automation and multimedia suites are completely renewed, both in their versions for Mac and for iOS, and also they become free for all users who have purchased an Apple device, be it computer, smartphone or tablet. New aesthetics, new functions and many improvements in the applications for iOS, which allow you to create physical photo albums (send them to Apple for production), edit documents in "collaboration" mode by several users, and countless new instruments and Effects for GarageBand. OS X Mavericks free for all and new MacBooks

Apple has presented the long-awaited MacBook Pro with Haswell processor that increase the autonomy of laptops, and has once again shown the almighty Mac Pro, a beautiful beast that will not be available yet, having to wait until the end of the year to get it (if you can let you).
