The YouTube application for iOS is not one of the best that we can find in the App Store to enjoy the Google video platform, despite being designed exclusively for it. In the Apple app store, we can find some very interesting alternatives that also if they take advantage of all the functions that Apple has been adding in the latest versions of iOS, such as the PIP function without going any further. However, YouTube also offers us some options that are not in the third-party applications available in the Apple store.
Google has just released a new update to its application to enjoy YouTube, adding an option that is highly anticipated by all users. This new feature will inform us at all times if we have watched a video or not. If yes, nit will show you a red line at the bottom of the video. If we have not finished playing it, a red line will be shown at the bottom showing how far we have played them. If we click on the video, the playback will start again where we left it.
In order to check which videos we have played and check their playback status, we have to go to the Library and click on the history located at the top. For some time now, the guys at Google are focusing very especially on the YouTube application. A few months ago they released an update to the application, an update that slightly changed the aesthetics and operation of the application, but still not compatible with the PIP function, Picture in Picture, which allows us to enjoy our favorite videos in a floating window while we carry out other tasks.
If we want to make use of the PIP function, we will have to make use of other applications available in the App Store, applications that precisely they are not free But they can be very useful if we are regular users of the YouTube video platform.
