Since the YouTube application disappeared internally from the iOS environment, the video giant's development team has put the batteries to develop a better application every time. In my opinion the change has been quite good for them, YouTube does not need to be integrated into an operating system to achieve more visits since it is a well-established and well-known company.
Some time ago they told us that they would allow the playback of offline videos from November, something that users applauded a lot, and today they bring us a new update with a quite remarkable improvement: as you can see in the image that heads the article now on Youtube we can change the resolution of the videos we play.
We are facing what is already the version 2.2.0 after they 'divorced' from Apple, an application as we say with great improvements after this separation that brings as a most remarkable novelty the possibility of changing the quality of the videos that we play, although it must be clarified that this is under iOS 7 and always when we are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Connection via Wifi is necessary more than anything for security since otherwise the data rates would fly by playing a video in 1080p, so good for YouTube for activating this new feature only under this type of wireless network.
It is a feature that was constantly requested in the comments of the application in all App Store's so they have known how to listen to users for this implementation, now I think They need to polish some things related to iOS 7 such as the use of the new keyboard of the new operating system for Apple iDevices.
Let us therefore review the new features of this version 2.2.0:
