Zara for iPhone, a great app if you are a regular at its stores

iPhone

Zara has been one of the fashion chains of the year. Thanks to their policy of not having seasons and of constantly renewing the stock with new collections, they have achieved incredible success, especially in the United States, where consumers have liked being able to find inexpensive but updated clothing and with a stock low enough to not see the clothes constantly repeated on the street.

The redesign

It is fair to begin by talking about redesign that the app has suffered on the occasion of the launch of iOS 7 by Apple. Now the application integrates seamlessly with Apple's new operating system since all its elements follow the design guidelines set by the team led by Jony Ive. There is no random detail and the interaction with the application is fluid at all times, so the user experience can be considered more than satisfactory.

The tones used are black and white, brand banners for many, many years. There are certain elements that are shown in colors, but always respecting the soft and simple tonality that is seen on each screen of the application.

All good

The first option that the app presents us is possibly the one in which we will spend the most time, since it allows us explore all products offered by Amancio Ortega's company. We have them arranged first by categories (blazers, suits, shirts, etc.) and later by style (casual, leather, slim fit, etc.), which makes it much easier to find what we are looking for if we are clear about our style. If you don't have it, the exploration is easy until you find something you like.

We can go getting items in the basket as we like them, and if we are in a store we can also add the items thanks to the barcode and QR scanner that the application incorporates. Purchases can be made entirely from the application, although for this we must be registered in the ZARA network, something that will not take us long and that allows us to buy without physically visiting the stores, which is interesting for those who live away from cities.

The app also incorporates a useful store locator, ideal if we are traveling in a city that is not ours and it is good for us to pick up some clothes or accessories.
